Erratic air temperatures hurt plant growth, so farmers must adjust planting schedules and plant selection according to the air temperature at a certain period. The author aims to predict minimum and maximum air temperatures in Temanggung district in 2024 using the Triple Exponential Smoothing (TES) method. Monthly air temperature data in Temanggung district for the period 2020 to 2023 is used for air temperature forecasting using the TES method. The analysis results show that the TES model can predict air temperature with fairly good accuracy. The minimum temperature is expected to be 23°C, maximum 26-27°C. The research results provide benefits for the agricultural sector in Temanggung. Farmers can use the results of air temperature predictions to adjust planting schedules based on crops that suit the air temperature to minimize the negative impact of air temperature on plant growth and agricultural yields.
Heri Susanto, Dimara Kusuma Hakim (Author) Copyright (c) 2024 Heri Susanto, Dimara Kusuma Hakim (Author) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://jurnal.politeknik-kebumen.ac.id/E-KOMTEK/article/view/1723 Fri, 21 Jun 2024 13:53:32 +0700 Passive Infrared (PIR) Sensor Based on Arduino in Rice Pest Repellent Device Based on Classic Life Cycle Method https://jurnal.politeknik-kebumen.ac.id/E-KOMTEK/article/view/1693
The research aims to design a system to repel rice pests in rice fields by moving the scarecrow using a servo motor while sounding the speaker according to the infrared signal detection from the PIR sensor. At present, campus admissions only focus on 35 out of the 38 provinces, with a limited number of students from the remote and outlying areas. Several promotional techniques have been implemented, yielding satisfactory results; however, there is room for improvement. To enhance its efforts, ITPLN utilizes VR technology to showcase campus facilities through virtual media. The Virtual Reality laboratory at ITPLN offers virtual tours that introduce various laboratories in all faculties. These tours serve two important purposes: supporting lectures in the laboratory and promoting the campus. The integration of laboratory introductions as a promotional tool is deemed appropriate for several reasons, including wider coverage, more comprehensive information, and an immersive and interactive experience. Consequently, prospective ITPLN students no longer need to physically visit the campus to gain a comprehensive understanding of the laboratory and campus in general. The development of VR facilities followed the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, and thorough testing was conducted to refine the existing VR resources. The outcome of this process is nine laboratory tours that highlight VR-based practical and research facilities, which can further enhance web-based learning and campus promotion.
Luqman Umar, Hendra Jatnika, Mochamad Farid Rifai, Karina Djunaidi, Yasni Djamain, Ahmad Dahroni, Yudhi S. The difficulty of inserting the drive shaft into the differential gear and rotating the ring gear in the final drive is a problem due to the long processing time. The innovation carried out is how to position the drift shaft parallel to the position of the differential gear, thus requiring a special tool to leverage and at the same time to rotate the drive shaft so that it can change the position of the position, with this leverage and position change effort it can speed up the removal and installation process and working time technicians are more effective and efficient in terms of labor costs on general overhaul work.

One of the repair works on the Power Train Havy Dum Truck (HD 787-5) unit is general overhaul work, which includes replacing components or overhauling the final drive assembly unit. Operators find it less profitable to build conventional telecommunications infrastructure in rural areas. 4G networks need to be developed in various ways, but the development has not yet achieved the quality of service that people need. This article evaluates the performance of developing an OpenBTS4G Network using 5GS with the Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) B210 device to make the network an economical communication solution for villagers. The system can be mobilized and set up whenever the cellular infrastructure is reactivated. After our configuration, the 4G network was detected on several cellular phones, but the transmitted network only covers 5m area, because the power used has not been able to cover a wider area. The development of this network is a solution in building a Network so that it will help people who live in blankspot areas. This research also aims to show that the Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) B210 can be used to provide and 4G Network.
Meilisya Eka Saputri, Sopian Soim, Aryanti Aryanti (Author) Copyright (c) 2024 Meilisya Eka Saputri (Author) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://jurnal.politeknik-kebumen.ac.id/E-KOMTEK/article/view/1876 Sat, 27 Jul 2024 17:04:33 +0700 Development of Android-Based Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) System Learning Media https://jurnal.politeknik-kebumen.ac.id/E-KOMTEK/article/view/1974
This study aims to: (1) Develop Android-based learning media for the Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, (2) Determine the feasibility of this learning media, and (3) Assess students' responses to the learning media.
