Teknologi Tepat Guna Alat Pengupas dan Penyaring Kelapa untuk Efisiensi Proses dan Higienitas VCO Pada UMKM CKAL 58 Kabupaten Blitar

Abstract
Di Kabupaten Blitar yang merupakan produsen kelapa ke-3 di Jawa Timur, banyak warga menggantungkan ekonomi pada komoditas ini. Salah satunya adalah UMKM VCO CKAL 58 yang ada di Desa Pandanarum, milik Muhammad Hanafi berdiri sejak 2019. Proses produksi VCO meliputi, pengupasan batok kelapa secara manual dengan linggis, pencucian, pemarutan memakai mesin, pemerasan untuk menghasilkan santan, dan penyaringan minyak yang masih manual (corong dan tisu) hingga 7 kali untuk memperoleh VCO murni. Masalah utama UMKM ini kapasitas terbatas karena alat produksi belum efisien untuk tahap pengupasan dan penyaringan masih manual dan memakan waktu. Tetapi permintaan pasar tinggi, sehingga diperlukan alat pengupas kelapa yang aman dapat memangkas waktu kupas hingga 5 menit. Sedangkan alat penyaring, memangkas tahap saringan menjadi 4 tahap. Selanjutnya minyak di sedot dengan pompa sehingga prosesnya cepat, selain itu juga masih menggunakan alat yang tidak food grade.
