Abstract
Petuguran village is a village located the western most of Pituruh Subdistrict. The village is surrounded by a large river or a small river. The majority of the people throw garbage into the river. The purpose of socialization activities for the procurement of Waste Bank conducted by Politeknik Dharma Patria lecturers is to improve the cleanliness of Petuguran village environment. In addition, the hygienic value of waste bank activities can also improve the economy. The methods used in socialization are divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Participants from the socialization of garbage banks consisted of several elements of citizens as many as 22 people. The results of the devotion stated that citizens enthusiastically follow the garbage bank so that the environment becomes cleaner and can add a little to the economy of the citizens.
